Galaxy power sources combine the typical qualities of traditional systems, such as reliability and simplicity of use, and the characteristics of inverter power sources, like high-quality welding and versatile use on different materials.

The system for setting welding parameters is very easy to understand and very functional: it features a standard mode which uses two potentiometers for arc voltage and the speed of the wire, and a synergetic mode where only the welding current or the thickness of the material to be welded are defined. Through the control panel it is possible to choose among 19 synergetic programs for the various kinds of basic material. Moreover, for each program the 6 work points that are most often used may be memorised.

Tecno SOL 's power sources have various functions that increase productivity: for instance, the possibility of adjusting the "hot-start" parameter in order to ensure a good baiting of the arc, the automatic check of the system during switch on to facilitate maintenance, the automatic stopping after a certain time if the generator is not in use to save a considerable amount of energy, the possibility of cyclic welding.

The need of the market to function according to the ISO quality standards finds an effective solution in the Galaxy range: not only can the generator be calibrated directly from the control panel, in compliance with ISO 9000, but the system can also be equipped with an optional mechanical key that restricts use to the pre-set parameters.
