Techno SOL is a unit of SOL S.p.A., the parent company of a multinational Group including over 30 companies active in the production and distribution of technical gases, listed in the Telematic System of the Italian Stock Exchange since July 1998.

The SOL Group, which was founded in 1927, is active in the field of industrial, pure and medicinal technical gases (production, applied research and distribution), in house-to-house medical assistance and in the welding industry. Today SOL is a multinational company present in 14 European countries; it has a 194.5 million Euro turnover (consolidated financial statement of 1999) and over 1,000 employees.
