with products that are more and more characterised by naturalness
and safety, availability and wideness of range, convenience and
practicality. SOL studies tailor-made solutions for its clients,

products. In order to obtain higher quality products than those
that would be produced using traditional methods, many kinds of
food are deep-frozen using liquid nitrogen or carbon dioxide,
others are packed in modified atmosphere controlled with nitrogen,
which preserves their aesthetic and organoleptic features. Cuttings
and plants are treated in greenhouses with atmospheres rich in
carbon dioxide in order to accelerate and improve their growth,
while fish are subjected to intensive breeding by using oxygen.
Spices and coffee are ground at a very low temperature using liquid
nitrogen to preserve their aroma and quality.
