CO2 blasting easily removes grease, oil, dust,
welding squirts, dry ink, dirt in general. Immediately after cleaning,
the solid CO2 used in the process turns to gas
and disappears into the atmosphere: CO2 blasting
can therefore be used directly on the production site, without
disassembling the plants to be cleaned. Compared to the traditional
sand-blasting system, CO2 blasting is not abrasive
and therefore does not damage the mould or other parts of the
plant even after prolonged use, saving on maintenance expenses.
Moreover, it is a "dry" system and consequently creates
no problem when used near electric systems. CO2
blasting does not make use of solvents or chemical agents for
cleaning, reducing all the problems connected to stocking, handling,
using and disposing of such dangerous substances. CO2
blasting can easily reach areas that are difficult to access and
therefore makes it possible to have high-quality cleaning in a
short time and at low costs.
