MAKING WATER DRINKABLE AND RE-CARBONATING IT: the problem of the quality of drinkable water is constantly being brought to everybody's attention. The systems and products for treating water must comply with precise conditions regarding non-toxicity and naturalness. Oxygen used directly as an oxidising agent or indirectly for the production of ozone in the plants that make water drinkable meet all the above-mentioned requirements. Not only does carbon dioxide used to re-carbonate waters prevent the need for costly maintenance, it is also supplied with the specification degree for alimentary use (E290).
